(She was wild and free ) and I was crazy in love with her. But even then the drinking was a problem that she would never face up to. Underneath the crack cocaine was already something that held her even tighter than I did. It never let go even years later when I had too.

Eventually it killed her. Just as it has many across this country .

I hoped (as did many others) that the birth of her children would save her .

It didn't

She managed to stay clean and sober for the 8 months she carried them.

It was the only time in the sixteen years that I knew her that she rose above herself.

She was in several movies and commercials including the movie

Pals with George C Scott.

I'm in the process of tracking down footage and photos of her film career and will post it all as soon as I can.

March 17th of this year would have been 16 years we would have been together

I've had the boys in my care since kindergarten. She just couldn't manage the boys the booze and the drugs . It was to much.

She never worked more than a few days at a time. She didn't have to.  Somebody somewhere was always ready to buy her a drink or whatever she may have wanted

The last couple of years of  her life she stayed with me and the boys.

Below are a two  of my favorite pics of her

Sarah had very kind heart. I will always remember how every year during the Christmas holidays she would  make lunches and dinners with just about everything in the cupboards. Then  get  someone drive her (she didn't drive herself) to all the squares in the downtown area. Where she would hand out her meals to the less fortunate often with copy of her mothers poetry.  In the neighborhood where she lived there were many elderly folks that she always cooked for and look after when ever they needed a hand. For the ten years before her mother died her mother was bedridden and Sarah waited  on her constantly from  morning till night. Her mother was her guiding light and Sarah was never the same after she died. She loved her children dearly. They live on knowing there mom is an Angel in Heaven looking down on them and keeping  them from harm.
