I'm not going to lie to you even when I can
If it hurts it hurts
If it's funny Damn right its funny
If it's a sad day then maybe you should go away
cause I'm not going to lie to you I am a honest man.
I could be so different you know, it would be a little rest .
A simply word not spoken or a jester thats just a token .
But thats not me nor how I want to be you see for I am a honest man.
My shield is a banner named truth
my sword is my wit and the words I have wrote
My Name is your love and words we have spoke
When they lay to the ground
with friends gathered all round
I will be proud to hear
these simply words so dear
