The Future Of Trumpville

What We Can Expect On Federal Marijuana Enforcement Policy.

This isn’t an expose on the merits of recreational marijuana use. I am not going to make the argument for or against drugs or drug laws in this article. This is just a prediction, my prediction of what to expect in the next few years with Trump and the new Attorney General Jeff Sessions at the helm.

White house press secretary Sean Spicer on Thursday said that

The DOJ Could Pursue ‘Greater Enforcement’ Of Pot Laws

And

“I think that when you see something like the opioid addiction crisis blossoming in so many states around this country, the last thing that we should be doing is encouraging people – there’s still a federal law that we need to abide by when it comes to recreational marijuana and other drugs of that nature,” Spicer said.

Bizaro?

Not Really, I saw this coming a mile away.

If you peak into the mind of Jeff Sessions you will find a staunch anti drug mindset that is all to willing to use existing drug and civil forfeiture laws to militarize our local police forces. All in the name of “safety”. The civil forfeiture laws are absolutely unconstitutional and gives courts the “right” to seize assets ie: property, cash, cars and your guns without due process or a conviction. Yes that’s right WITHOUT A CONVICTION.

The opposing side

Chief counsel  Mike Bannon on the other hand will be at least one voice of opposition to turning up the heat on states that see a cash cow in the legalization of recreational pot use. One other very strong proponent of dismantling the “War On Drugs” will be big pharmaceutical companies who so have the gleam of dollar signs in there greedy hands.

Prohibition didn’t work in the 1920’s and neither has any law written sense to curtail America’s mind altering devices. We the people should not have the boot of law enforcement dragging us off to prison in record numbers (especially the black and latino populis) for something that grows naturally.

I see oppression where there should be none. I see unconstitutional behavior were it should not be tolerated from us or our lawmakers. If this doesn’t raise the hairs on the back of your neck then consider my final point.

Alcohol abuse in this country is a driving force behind broken marriages, homes and lives, it kills more people per year then all the wars we are waging around the globe.. There is no denying that. Still it is legal but regulated as it should be. If we continue to let our law makers and law enforcement operate they we they have been then in the next four years you or someone you know has a 38 % chance of standing before a judge and defending one self against laws that are totally unconstitutional.

The Cultural Divide Exposed

The rights of immigrants vs. the wallets of the people.

Who gets to decide how much it will cost and how far we as a country are willing to go.

There are roughly 3 billion people on this planet right now making less than one  dollar a day. While we as Americans struggle to pay the bills, many struggle more just to stay alive. Many hearts are heavy in this country for the hardships others throughout the world suffer and we want help. But what price are we willing to pay? The ravages of the war in Syria which was the making of the Obama administration has left a country in ruins. Europe struggles to help while ignoring the pending problems that come with blending cultures. At home we watch the news abroad and of “No Go Zones” and want No part of that mess. But already in this country we have places that are so ethnically inclusive that it resembles Iraq or Istanbul. France, Sweden, Germany and others are getting ever increasing push back by its citizens to stop or reduce the flow of foreigners into their neighborhoods. Here at home our inner cities can not provide jobs to inner city minorities. That leaves the drug cartel huge openings onto the minds and pockets of our children. Crime rates have  continued to climb under the last 8 years of democratic  rule, especially in places like Chicago. The left blames the guns while the politicians throw money at the problem though social programs such as food stamps and free healthcare. see it as nothing but a big fat hole in our pockets. The new administration shows signs of a right turn ahead but that may be an elusion by the puppet masters to calm the massive uprising that took place last November. The war in Syria wasall  about the petro dollar and nothing more. Assad wants to sell his oil on the open market in other currencies besides the petrodollar, our government will never allow that to happen.. If the United States were to  let that happen it could and probably would eventual ruin wall street. When it’s all is said and done we must as a nation concentrate on fixing our problems and getting our people jobs that elevate and protect our workers future. My heart goes out to the hungry world  but no matter how hard we try we can never feed them all without starving ourselves. My dinner table does not matter to the refugees but it dam sure matters to me. I look at the amount of taxes we pay and it leaves me sick. My Twitter feed runs rabid with Trump supporters taunting his jobs policies, but I give a word of caution. Big Ford plants are going to be filled with robots not workes. The manufacturing jobs of yesterday are gone and will never return. The rich get richer and drag the poorest of the poor onto our shores boat load after boat load into our cities and our homes if we let them.. We need to look to the needs of this country first. We need to develop long term strategies for improving the careers of our children first. Everything else runs a distant second in my book.

The Shadow Government Exsposed

The Trump train running at full steam risks derailment

President Trump’s secretary of state has reportedly fired almost an entire seventh floor at the state department yesterday. Apparently upset over leaks to the press in the last couple of days Trump is clinging to the old saying that “a new broom sweeps clean”.  The administration  must install its own people loyal to the president in order to overcome the shadow government that former president Obama has carefully put in place. Rex Tillerson is the man to lead the charge with a copy of “The Art Of War” tucked under is arm and a long history of having to fight “insiders” plotting agaust him.

The opposition secretly being  managed  by Obama has a play book of their own. They also have had eight years to embed its methodology. Mr. Obama’s organizing skills are being tapped by the puppet master George Soros to creat desent and disruption at every turn. In the coming days and weks I suspect you will see more of the same, same from both sides. Both men are intelligent, commited to there ideal and methods, and are not in any way ever going to quit, tap out or fade away. One thing is for sure feather are not just going to get ruffled the are going to fly. If I were to but myself in Trumps shoes what would I do?

Drain the swamp, circle the wagons and put the enemy on the run with guns abalzing (figuratively  speaking of course”.

Back in my college days we sat around our sacred meeting table and expounded on our views of the utopian future we would build. My colleges and myself despised  the destruction of the Watts riots or the Detriot riots that were but a few miles from us. The U of Mich. Ann Arbor campus was thick with liberalism even then but I failed for the most part to recognize it. We all bought into the “feeding the hungry and saving our planet”. We did not buy into “Order out of chaos”.  The truth is we have been led like school children in a fire drill down a path not of our choosing. Right or wrong. Left or Right here it is not just knocking on your door, but sleeping your children’s bedroom.
